76 - Kool Aid rocks

Okay, first off yes I got all the stuff in the package and it rocked! I loved the kool aid too! It was awesome! And yes I got the video. Thank you for making me miss Lake Powell :)

I really hope BYU wins, but we all know what the odds are against Michigan... and speaking of that how is Ohio State doing? :) haha no I’m just kidding mom! But I’m glad you guys are doing good. I’m sorry that they framed that one house before ours. But ours will be so much cooler than the other house! I promise that because our family is awesome! Haha

Well I got a cold this week, so I wasn’t in a very good mood. But we still had a lot of meetings and we went out to visit a lot of people who haven’t gone to church in a while. We were planning on having 6 in sacrament meeting, but only 1 showed up. So it was my sickness, and not what we were hoping for at church, and about a million other things at the same time that bummed us out so it was rough. But I realized that sometimes even when we do everything we can, we can’t make the other people do what we want. But there is a girl, she is 16 and her boyfriend is a member. She started reading the Book of Mormon that her boyfriend has, and they read together. She asked him for more things to study. She is super cool! And she is extremely smart and likes to know about the church :) So we are hoping for the best with her!

I’m studying in Alma 38. It’s like the end of the missionary work, and the start of the wars. So you know how that is!

But things are good. Me and my comp have been working really hard and trying our best. Things don’t always end how we wanted so it is a little rough on us but we are still going at it.

Thanks for emailing me even though Marcus & Brooke couldn’t find time to do it. It actually meant a lot to me :) I love you guys. And make sure to take a look at the Cadillac’s! They always were little quick guys! And I hear they got even better. But have a good week :) And tell everyone I miss them (the ones that I don’t email) I love you! Have a good day!

74 - Just Do Your Best

Mom. First off, when there is a stupid Subaru that wants to race you in the car, you always go for it! You know you can win that! And I love to see their faces when they get smoked by an SUV! But I'm glad things went well with the move. It's good to hear that everyone was willing to help. I'm glad no one died too! And I'm glad you have a good outlook on this! Things will work out! I'm sure of that!

My comp got sick for a few days this week so that kinda stunk. But things are going good now! Today we got to go to Price Smart or Costco in America. I got some gatorade, so that was cool! My comp bought a camera so it was pretty good! We got some good stuff! But things are going okay. We are trying our best to find new people to teach. There aren't many that want to listen. But when we find some, we will take advantage of it! This week I studied Mosiah 17-20 and it was really good. I was reading about the brothers of Mosiah and about everything they went through. It was cool they said every single time, that they just had a little hope that they could at least change 1 persons heart. They didn't worry about how many people they changed, just that they did their best. They were given thousands of people to teach because they understood the real reason. They were ready to do what was needed to get it done. So yeah! That was good!

There was a party Saturday for a girl in the ward that is moving to Utah to get married. It was cool! There was food, and more food! And all that jazz. But I have some great ideas for when you guys come. Speaking of, are you okay with spending a decent amount of money? Or are you not wanting to spend much? Just wondering!
We haven't had many lessons this week. It was mainly less actives but things are going good. But me and my companion are staying together for another transfer, so that's good.

But I hope you have a good week and can get caught up on all that work! I love you. I hope things go well!

73 - Baptism Day!

Yes, as the picture shows, we did have the baptism! And it was awesome! It started pouring rain, and the power cut out 2 times, but we were given enough time to get it done. I felt really good about it. He really was ready for it. It was really good. I feel like he will be a really good member. He really wants to get to the temple. I'm sure that this changed his life. I really hope that he will be able to continue getting better. He really is someone special. He told us that he wants to serve a mission. He really does want to do a lot of things. I just hope he can keep that kind of out look until he can get to the temple. I really think that if he makes it to a year, he will make it possibly his whole life. I really hope he does! He is a good kid and he will be a good member.

Now to this week., it was really good! We had a lot of lessons with members and a lot of lessons with less active members and it kind of showed. There were 75 people in church!  3 of them were investigators, and that is a huge thing here! More than we have had in our time here. Me and my comp get along really well but changes are next week. I really hope we get 1 more change together. He is a great kid and I really enjoy being with him. Things are going really well for us. But I really don't know. It's hard to have 3 changes as a companionship but it would be nice. We are trying really hard to get the less active members to come to church., and it seems to be working really well. We had 5 people that have never come in my time here at church, and at activities, so we feel good!

I'm glad you guys are getting to know the new neighbors! They seem cool. Maybe they will like when dad comes cruising in on the scooter! ;) haha He loves that thing! Maybe even as much as me!!

I love you mom. Thank you for everything you do for me. Keep Brooke in line, and CH too! Good luck at work! I remember when we brought you a pizza one time! IT was pretty cute, I know ;)

Oh and I was reading in Alma chapter 5. I loved how he reminded them of the things they need to do. Sometimes we do forget our responsibilities and we need someone to remind us. It's when we forget these things that we have trials. It's the Lord showing us that there is something better that we need to be doing. There are many times that we might think that we have trials because God is unfair but it's us who aren't living up to our half of the promise. He is just trying to help us realize that. It was a pretty cool part for me. It really changed my outlook on the things that happen in our lives.

My week was actually pretty good. It was actually super good! We got a lot of work done and a lot of cool stuff! So I can say that things got a lot better this week! But I hope things keep going good for you guys. I love you! Have a good week!
